This
is an extremely important building architecturally and in terms of the
works it houses.
dpa were commissioned to review the current day lighting
arrangements with a view to possible re-roofing. The study examined
all aspects of the natural light within the main space including sun
penetration as well as generally day lighting arrangements. Consideration
was given to conservation of the artefacts as well as visual appearance
of any proposed re-roofing arrangements.
The practice is very proud of its relationship with the city of Oxford,
University of Oxford, the various colleges within Oxford and other commercial
organisations and this project and study is to us a privilege to be
able to work on such important buildings.
