The
Marrakech Souk has been an inspiration to many who have visited but
as lighting designers the way the natural light filters through the
array of screening devices is both enchanting and thought provoking.
The areas of light and shade and the patterns created by the hap hazard
shaping devices create fabulous visual stimulation. Observing the Souk
throughout the day as the sun moves and the changing patterns created
is really most interesting.
The combination of street life, colour and sunlight are a magical mixture
that everyone should try to see at some point in our opinion.
