This
project consists of twin hotel and residential buildings complemented
with very similar architecture. Joining the 2 buildings is a sympathetic
yet stimulating landscape where lighting is used sparingly to accent
trees and shrubs at a human scale while the architecture is subtly illuminated
against a relatively dark Lagos skyline.
Within the interior spaces an eclectic mix of contemporary design with
an African twist are accentuated with lighting concealed where possible
to accent the interior spaces, art and material finishes. Natural daylight
complements the spaces from the expansive glazing allowing views through
to the front and rear gardens and landscaped areas. Decorative elements
finalise a thoroughly considered scheme from the whole design and client
teams.
