This
traditional interior with its Adam style decorative plaster ceiling
presented dpa with a lighting problem that required
a unique solution. Our Client commissioned our services to find a way
of lighting an oil painting without damaging the ceiling or wall panelling
in any way.
The solution was to light the painting from small
adjustable low voltage spotlights cantilevered from a track, carefully
integrated into the mouldings at the top of the wall. The track and
spotlights have been finished in a colour to match the ceiling, further
reducing the visual appearance of the lighting equipment.
