This is a temporary installation on the Terrace of a London apartment for a summer party. The lighting had to provide an exciting external space when viewed from inside or when on the terrace itself. The use of colour under the seats and Gobo projectors onto the paving delivered a sense of theatre, whilst the lighting to the planting gave a natural softness to it's perimeter. It was important that light did not glare guests and showed off the colours of the plants as well as their general form. The setting up of the lighting, as with all projects, was an important part of achieving the result we all wanted. |
