The
psychological and physiological advantages of natural
light within the built environment are now widely acknowledged.
There are also potential energy savings to be made by
harnessing this universal resource, which is generally
regarded as the purest form of lighting.
Natural
light is infinitely variable. There is often too much
or too little within an interior space. Methods of daylight
control can be employed, to either limit the amount
of light entering into a building, or to redirect and
optimise the daylight penetration.
If
required, we can undertake daylighting studies and develop
practical solutions which maximize the benefits of natural
lighting for our clients.
We
have the knowledge and skill to predict, control, redirect
and integrate natural lighting within a building. The
daylight elements of a project can then be structured
to be sympathetic with any artificial lighting design. |
