A grand lobby space with internally illuminated alabaster urns and gold-leaf clad coffers leads into a huge landscaped atrium space filled with tropical planting and royal palms. As well as providing ambient lighting for the space, discreet plant health lighting was incorporated into the design.

A number of themed restaurants are located around the perimeter of the atrium. The lighting of each outlet reflects the essential style and character of each interior.

The 4,300 square metre conference suite has two large ballrooms and a pre-function area. A state-of-the-art Media Room, and eleven meeting rooms support the ballrooms. All lighting within the conference suite is fully dimmable and flexible to meet the needs of the hotel clients.

dpa were also responsible for the lighting within the Grand Spa health club, and “Mix” nightclub at the property.
