The completion of the renovation work of the Hilton Hotel Athens coincides with the 40th anniversary of its successful operation in the Athens hotel market. Following the radical refurbishment and upgrading of its interior and exterior, it has been rewarded with the appointment as the Official International Olympic Committee Headquarters Hotel for Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

The design concept was to integrate a lighting scheme that would compliment the strong architectural characteristics of the building, whilst ensuring that the modernistic interior fabric of the building was best enhanced in a manner that was sympathetic to the building as a whole.
