dpa designed new lighting to the bar area itself, and orchestrated the scene-set dimming levels to ensure that the room was suitable for a show to be on stage while the bar operated, and while guests passed through the open corridor at one side of the room.

A chandelier hung over the back bar, made from Swarovski crystals, was internally illuminated by cool white LEDs. The same lighting treatment was given to the glass ice bowl below to provide a cool, glittering, feel to the back bar. The circular bar counter consisted of a backlit laminated Onyx surface, with illumination provided by a low voltage cold cathode system in a warm white colour.
