dpa were employed by Crystal Cruises International to design the lighting to the newly refurbished shops on the Crystal Symphony. The brief was that these shops should be of the same standard of design and presentation as any comparable high-end showrooms on land. Interior design was by II by IV Associates of Toronto, Canada.

Lighting to the jewellery store (“Facets”) is characterised by the extensive use of cool white fibre optic lighting systems to provide sparkle and glitter close to the product using adjustable narrow-beam heads. The result is a true sense of drama and occasion.
