SENIOR ASSOCIATEs, ASSOCIATEs, senior lighting designers and lIGHTING dESIGNERS – oxfordshire, London & dubai studioS
We are looking for creative and technically knowledgeable Senior Associates, Associates, Senior Lighting Designers and Lighting Designers to join our studios in Oxfordshire, London and Dubai. Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
Senior Associates, Associates and Senior Lighting Designers:
Responsibilities would include, working within a team environment on all aspects of the lighting design process, from concept to completion, attending design and site meetings in the UK or UAE and overseas, as well as supervising the work of lighting designers within the studio. Candidates should have a strong portfolio of completed exterior and interior projects. IT skills must include Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and DIALux. Knowledge of BIM/Revit would be beneficial but not essential.
Only applicants with professional independent lighting design experience will be considered.
Lighting Designers:
The role will involve being part of a design team and providing support in the production of concept presentations, layout drawings and details, specifications etc. with the opportunity to progress within the Practice. We will consider both graduate level candidates and applicants with some lighting design experience. Applicants should have Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Photoshop skills. An understanding of InDesign, visualisation programmes and other lighting related packages such as DIALux would be beneficial. BIM/Revit experience would also be advantageous but not essential.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and includes bonus opportunities. The Dubai position enjoys a tax free environment subject to personal taxation circumstances.

SENIOR ASSOCIATES
A Senior Associate should have a minimum of fifteen years experience in independent professional lighting design. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent creative, technical, commercial, project management and communication skills. You will be expected to lead a team of designers and head up a variety of projects where you will be involved from the inception to completion.
Applicants will be expected to show examples of their completed work where their management skills, leadership and design input has been extremely significant.
ASSOCIATES
An Associate should have a minimum of ten years experience in independent professional lighting design. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent creative, technical, commercial, project management and communication skills. You will be expected to lead a team of designers and head up a variety of projects where you will be involved from the inception to completion.
Applicants will be expected to show examples of their completed work where their management skills, leadership and design input has been extremely significant.
senior LIGHTING designers
Senior Lighting Designers will have a minimum of five years experience in independent professional lighting design. As well as creative and technical skills, you will need excellent knowledge of relevant software packages, which should be clearly illustrated in your CV. Senior Lighting Designers will work within a team, but should have the ability to run some projects from inception to completion themselves. We are looking for progressive designers with ambition to fill these positions.
LIGHTING DESIGNERS
Designers from graduate level to those with some direct lighting design experience will be considered for the various positions currently available. Excellent knowledge of relevant software packages including AutoCAD is essential. BIM/Revit experience would also be advantageous but not essential.
Designers will show creative abilities with a desire to progress within the field of lighting design. Technical knowledge would also be an attribute, but progressive designers who show an ability to learn would be strongly considered.
You will be part of a design team that will help your development and progress as well as providing specific education within the Practice.
CAD/BIM Technician
Successful candidates should be proficient in using AutoCAD and BIM/Revit. Design training/experience using Photoshop, InDesign and DIALux would also be desirable but not essential.
