Haus 28 is the latest completed project in the ever-expanding Neue Balan Campus, Munich. In 2007 Allgemeine SÜDBODEN Grundbesitz AG started to enlarge the campus by renovating existing office buildings and developing new ones, since then the campus has attracted a varied range of tenants from IT to fashion. dpa worked again with Weickenmeier, Kunz + Partner Architects to develop a neatly integrated lighting scheme that synchronised with the contemporary architecture and had synergy with the wider campus lighting vocabulary.
The building sits in a prominent location on Balanstraße and serves as an important architectural frontage from both the road and within Neue Balan. dpa were commissioned to produce a lighting scheme for the geometric architectural façades, exterior circulation, social spaces and foyers and we look forward to sharing additional pictures of the lighting scheme, when available.
The project was awarded the prestigious architectural design accolade: German Design Awards 2025, Excellent Architecture – Winner.
