dpa were delighted to be invited to work on another project at Castelfalfi, this time in collaboration with designer, Stefano Ricci.
Located at the top of a castle whose origins date back to the 8th Century, the exceptional two-suite Penthouse designed by Stefano Ricci La Rocca is a fusion of history and modern luxury.
This project creates a space that celebrates the castle’s storied past while embracing modern elegance. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding Tuscan landscape, the design uses warm, golden tones that echo the sun-kissed hills. The selected materials are bold and masculine, mirroring the strength and character of the stone castle below.
The Murano chandeliers hang above as showstopping pieces, their intricate beauty adding a timeless touch to the space, and bespoke wall lights fit seamlessly into the overall design. The integrated lighting concealed within the hand-crafted Italian joinery gently illuminates the space, creating a soft, inviting ambiance throughout.
The penthouse offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Tuscan hills creating a tranquil and immersive atmosphere that invites you to relax and unwind.
At its core, La Rocca is a beautiful blend of past and present; a space that honours its history while providing the ultimate in modern comfort.
