dpa have worked closely with Crystal Cruises International over the last 12 years and greatly value this special relationship. Crystal were sold earlier this year (2015) to Genting Hong Kong and, since the acquisition, many exciting new ventures have been announced. dpa are working closely with Alexandra Don of CCI and lead designer Chris Finch of AD Associates. Chris and CCI have kindly allowed us to share their visuals of the new Yacht, which illustrates the overall vessel and its luxurious spaces within.

Lighting is an important part of creating a luxurious experience for discerning Crystal guests, and the lighting has been carefully developed and integrated into the fabric of the vessel. The project will utilise long life low energy LED sources in a variety of formats, as shown on the visuals below. All the suites and public areas will also benefit from a computerised scene set lighting control system, allowing simple instinctive use to create different ambiences at different times of day or night, to suit the mood of the guest.
