Mall of the Emirates opened its Fashion Dome at the end of 2010 and recently completed their lighting refurbishment of the Galleria.  dpa designed the lighting for both of these substantial projects, which has resulted in bright and energy-efficient installation automatically responding to daylight availability and the time of day.

The Fashion Dome sees the arrival of popular high fashion names, including Christian Louboutin, Cartier, Canali, Boutique 1, Paul Smith, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Galliano, Versace, See by Chloe, Bottega Venetta, Mulberry, Missoni, Diane von Furstenberg, and Sephora. In addition, it will become home to the largest D&G boutique in the region.

Meanwhile, existing premium retailers such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Gucci have expanded to bigger premises within the Dome.
