Situated within Vienna’s historic Ringstrasse, Mandarin Oriental, Vienna occupies a former early‑20th‑century courthouse – an Art Nouveau landmark designed by architect Alfred Keller. Following a meticulous six‑year transformation, the once austere civic building has been reimagined as a warm, welcoming five‑star hotel with interiors designed by Goddard Littlefair and Humbert & Poyet.

In the subterranean spa, guests are immersed in a sanctuary of calm and rejuvenation. Spanning 700 square metres, the spa features seven treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam bath, a 24-hour fitness centre, and one of Vienna’s largest indoor swimming pools. Using tuneable white lighting technology, the design responds dynamically to guests’ needs – invigorating, cool whites energise the early morning ambience around the pool and gym, gradually transitioning to softer amber tones by evening to promote relaxation.
